The Magnus Project began with eight people in a room.
We were all entrepreneurs and had just spent eighteen months working with each other on our companies. There were some staggering results produced in business performance. We started talking about how to push the envelope and create a natural rapid increase in aptitude. We also noticed that the way we were called to another level of our natural ability in our relationship with each other was unique in our lives. No other environment in our lives was pulling for greatness in an all-encompassing way. Over the next year, we not only found new heights in our results, but we started articulating what was at the heart of the elasticity of aptitude. It turns out, the only thing limiting the aptitude of a human being, is the nature of the Purpose they have authorized themselves to accomplish.
We worked together conversationally once every couple weeks for two years and each person’s businesses and other concerns were expanding rapidly. We found that the size and scope of what we could responsibly hold had greatly expanded. There was largely even a calm serenity that came over those who were participating in the group. Causing outcomes of ever increasing size seemed to be more and more attainable. Yes, some of the conversations we were delving into were responsible for a new enlightened approach to outcome resolution. However, the real power of the group was what we were standing for with each other, what we demanded, had our attention on, and what we brought consciousness to over and over. It is possible for a human being to become more and more Purpose-oriented we discovered. It’s possible to have an environment where people are demanded of to keep inventing a new ‘best of themselves’ in service of something they see as a great endeavor.
